Are you planning a trip to New York soon? Do you want to participate in the Broadway performance? Here are some great tips for getting you in New York City where you can see several plays without spending luck.
How to get to New York
Are you trying to decide which airport to fly? Instead of flying directly to New York, consider flying to Newark, New Jersey. why? New Jersey Transit Train is one way from Newark airport to pen station in New York City in $ 30.00 in 30 minutes. This is much cheaper and quicker than trying to take a taxi from one of New York's airports to downtown Manhattan.
Please leave the train at Penn station in New York City. While you are at the station, please purchase an unlimited metro card for 7 days. The card is $ 31.00 and you can use it to stay for 7 days. This is useful for planning your sightseeing trip.
Heading for Times Square
When you leave Penn Station, head to Times Square and take a look at all the plays that you were playing while you were in the city. When you stand in the middle of Times Square, you look up all the signs. We have performances at both Broadway and Off Broadway. There is very much to choose from there!
When you look around, you will notice under "Red Staircase" of Broadway and TKTS Ticket Booth # 47. It opens at 3:00 pm every day except Tuesday and opens one hour before 2 pm. How do you know that you found it? Look for hundreds of people lined up to purchase theater tickets at 50% off. What a deal! Near the ticket window you will see the price of the tickets selling the tickets and tickets. Are you ready to go right now and are you ready to get tickets for tonight's performance? These lines move fast, but it is expected to enter the line for about an hour. Do you want to spend an hour of your vacation every day?
Use your metro card to get out of Times Square
There may be better ways. These same tickets are also sold in two other places.
South Street Seaport
Front and corner of John Street
Downtown Brooklyn
1 Horn of MetroTech Center, Jay Street and Myrtle Avenue Promenade
These places are usually held 4 hours before the Times Square ticket booth. The location of Brooklyn is closed every Sunday and Monday, but the exchange is held every morning at 11 am. Getting a ticket at one of these other places allows you to make a better seat selection for that night's performance as it opens faster than Times Square's place. It is the best part, but usually you can walk to the window without waiting for a long time!
Let's go to one of these other places with your metro card, remove you from the city. I recommend you buy tickets at Brooklyn. There, you can go out for lunch and enjoy pizza. Let's walk back over the Brooklyn bridge after lunch. The view of the city deserves to be a walk! Time to go get your tickets and enjoy the show!
