El Tovar Hotel is at the end of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona.
El Tovar Hotel is an architectural mystery as if it jumped out of the rock in which it resides. Opened in 1905, this versatile building is along the natural stairs and contours of the canyon.
It is made of wood of large Douglas fir with a native stone, a stone stone, a separate roof set at several levels. The proud wooden turret protrudes from the upper floor and gets a lot of attention when arriving. The visible Emil Varl emblem further reports that this is not an ordinary historic national park lodge.
It was once called the log house of the most expensive construction and appointment in the United States. The first floor exterior is covered with log slab siding, it has a huge cabin exterior, and several balconies, terraces and pouches are headed for rustic mountain chalets.
El Tovar Hotel still retains most of its rustic character and charm. Over the years we have attracted a lot of attention to see and see the panorama of one vast landscape of the world's great natural wonders.
Theodore Roosevelt, William H. Taft, Bernard Shaw, Albert Einstein, author Zane Gray, Guglimo Marconi, and the like.
The elegant dining room (once you like Roosevelt during your stay) offers classic and regional choices.
El Tovar Hotel offers 78 guest rooms with climate control.
Rooms have standard, deluxe, or double, queen and king size bed variations, air conditioning, cable TV phone and full bath amenities.
Staying at this majestic lodge will leave you the lifetime of memories and what you want to return. The spectacular scenery and glorious sunrise and sunset were enough for me.
