
Maine has more than 3000 islands and beautiful harbors and is known globally for its magnificent and steep coastline. Maine is full of traditional New England towns and quaint village villages featuring wonderful shopping and fine restaurants. Maine reminds us of the images of ship imagery and the sea captain of the 19th century. By the mid-nineteenth century Maine established its position as a US shipbuilding structure. Several of the world's most sophisticated sailing boats are still built here.

There are several famous lighthouses in Maine, such as Portland headlights at Fort Williams Park. It was ordered by George Washington in 1790 and is the oldest in the state. On the coast of Maine there are 60 working lighthouses up and down.
The town of Freeport is internationally renowned for the impressive range of outlet shops that are international shopping and Mecca. On the main street there are Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, Main Landmark LL Bean.
There is no mention of Maine state and there is no word about lobster. This delicious shellfish steadily marching from the rocky floor of the Atlantic to the ambush of the local lobster is a claim of the most noteworthy dish in the nominal state.
